It’s been an exciting year on the Dropbox for Business front. Dropbox has grown from being used in 2 million businesses in 2012 to over 4 million businesses today, including innovative companies like BCBG. We’ve also been making big changes to the product, like giving you the ability to connect a personal Dropbox to your business Dropbox on all your devices, and adding a whole slew of new features for IT. Today, we’re excited to announce that we’re partnering with Salesforce to bring great technology to the enterprise and help users connect with customers in a whole new way.

As a launch partner for Salesforce1 — Salesforce’s new mobile-first platform built to connect sales, service and marketing apps to the enterprise — Dropbox is helping Salesforce users work smarter with customers, colleagues, partners, products and devices. This means that Salesforce users will soon be able to access their Dropbox files from within the Salesforce1 mobile app and have all their client presentations, invoices, contracts, and meeting notes on the go. Salesforce users will also be able to attach Dropbox files to things like their Chatter feed too as another way to share and collaborate with colleagues.

We’re excited to continue building great experiences for the businesses that run on Dropbox, and we’ve got lots more in store. In the meantime, check out Marc Benioff and Drew Houston onstage at Dreamforce chatting about innovation, growth, and building a lasting company.
