We started 2013 with ambitious plans and are proud of how far Dropbox for Business has come in these twelve months. And we've been lucky to do it all with some of the most forward-thinking partners in tech, retail, media, and more. So before we embark on an even bigger 2014, we want to thank the companies and people who’ve helped us make Dropbox for Business so big in 2013.

We love helping our customers run faster and smarter, and hearing their feedback helps us build a better Dropbox. Fashion house BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP streamlined their design review process with Dropbox, leaving behind a clunky combination of paper reams, monstrous email attachments, and FTP servers. National Geographic’s photographers use Dropbox to store photos and videos captured everywhere from the snowy peaks of Alaska to the heart of the jungle, and share them with production crews and editorial staff. And we hear more stories every day — from customers like Kayak, Sur La Table, Rockstar Energy Drink, and Foursquare — about how Dropbox for Business is transforming the way they work.

We live to simplify things, especially when it comes to getting people up and running, so we'd also like to extend thanks to the identity provider partners who make single sign-on (SSO) so easy to integrate with Dropbox for Business. Ping Identity, OneLogin, Okta, Centrify, Symplified, Auth0 & Salesforce have helped make deploying and accessing Dropbox for Business a breeze.

We launched the Dropbox Partner Network earlier this year because of the success we’ve had with companies like Cartwheel and Contango IT, who work behind the scenes to bring Dropbox for Business to more and more businesses every day.

We also want to thank our vibrant developer community for building great experiences on top of Dropbox and coming out in full force for DBX, our first developer conference. They’re helping businesses be even more productive with over 100,000 active apps connected to Dropbox.

A few partnerships helped us close out 2013 in style: Dell, Samsung, and Salesforce. We're working with Dell to bring Dropbox to more businesses and keep employees' work at their fingertips. The combination of Samsung Knox and Dropbox helps IT teams give users the access to work and personal stuff they clamor for. And as a launch partner for Salesforce1, our users can access Dropbox inside Salesforce, bringing the two services closer together.

But we couldn’t have done any of this without our own engineering, product, design, and sales teams. They’ve supercharged Dropbox for Business with new features that give admins more visibility and control, help teams instantly share across their organizations, provide auditing and provisioning tools, let users access both personal and work Dropboxes on any device, keep accounts payable happy with monthly billing, and more. So it’s no wonder that 200 million people, 4 million businesses, and 97% of the Fortune 500 are getting things done with Dropbox.

With lots more in the works for Dropbox for Business for next year, we’re pumped for what’s ahead. So to all the partners and customers who’ve made it such a great ride, thank you, happy new year, and get ready for a whole lot more in 2014!
